      • Overview
        • m-dPEG®8-azide, product number 10534, also known as azido-m-dPEG®8, is a monodispersed PEG product used in click chemistry applications. The functional azido group resides at one terminus, while the opposite end of the molecule is a non-reactive, charge-neutral methyl group. Copper(I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) and strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) are both useful with this product. Click chemistry-based construction of dendrimers and hydrogels is possible with m-dPEG®8-azide. Additionally, surfaces and biomolecules containing azide-reactive alkynes are modifiable with this product.

Ourmonodispersed polyethylene glycol (PEG) linkers and spacers are unique PEGylation reagents sold under the dPEG® tradename. Quanta BioDesign pioneered the processes for synthesizing monodisperse, discrete PEG reagents. Today, we are the leading manufacturer and innovator of monodispersed PEGylation reagents worldwide.
