m-dPEG®4-azide, product number 10532, also known as azido-m-dPEG®4, is a monodispersed PEG product used in click chemistry applications. The single molecular weight discrete PEG (dPEG®) spacer is 14 atoms long (15.5 Å). One end of the molecule terminates with a non-reactive, charge-neutral methyl group, while the other terminus contains the functional azido group. This product works equally well in copper(I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) and strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC). This product is useful for constructing dendrimers and hydrogels using click chemistry and for modifying surfaces and biomolecules containing alkynes that can react with azides under CuAAC or SPAAC conditions.
Ourmonodispersed polyethylene glycol (PEG) linkers and spacers are unique PEGylation reagents sold under the dPEG® tradename. Quanta BioDesign pioneered the processes for synthesizing monodisperse, discrete PEG reagents. Today, we are the leading manufacturer and innovator of monodispersed PEGylation reagents worldwide. Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
