Isoxanthohumol is one of many bioactive prenylflavonoids that can be isolated from the hops plant, or Humulus lupulus L. While the primary research interest is in its apparent chemotherapeutic prevention activity, isoxanthohumol has also shown notable antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal activity.
