HO-PEG-amine, MW20K is a PEG derivative which contains hydroxyl and amine moieties. The hydroxyl group enables further derivatization or replacement with other reactive functional groups. The amine group is reactive towards carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, carbonyls (ketone, aldehyde) etc. The hydrophilic PEG spacer allows for increased solubility in aqueous media.
