        • DNA methylation is closely related to gene expression and gene function. Efficient and accurate detection of DNA methylation has become increasingly important for research in biology, genetics, pathology, pharmacology, medical diagnosis and other fields. The most commonly used method for detecting DNA methylation is the bisulfite conversion method. Bisulfite can convert unmethylated cytosine to produce uracil sulfonate through deamination reaction, while methylated cytosine will not be converted by bisulfite. The converted DNA is bound to magnetic beads that efficiently adsorb nucleic acids, and then enriched to obtain DNA on the magnetic beads through washing, desulfurization and elution.
          This kit combines DNA denaturation and bisulfite conversion into one step, and the conversion reaction time takes 2.5 h. The DNA input range is 100 pg-2 μg. The conversion efficiency of unmethylated cytosine is ≥99.5%. The converted product is suitable for downstream applications such as PCR amplification and NGS sequencing.
