  - γ-Cyclodextrin is a cyclic oligosaccharide with 8 D-glucose residues which are α-1,4-linked. γ-cyclodextrin is used in the food industry to encapsulate flavours and fragrances (Kfoury, 2016). γ-cyclodextrin can improve bioavailability of compounds with low water solubility, such as Coenzyme Q10, which has been used in nutraceuticals (Yukiko, 2017).
