This kit was designed to be user-friendly even for first-time users.
Our wheat germ cell-free expression system allows you to easily make full-length isotope-labeled MS standards.
Features:
• Incorporates stable 13C and 15N isotopes-labeled lysine and arginine residues suitable for working with trypsin digestion in bottom-up proteomics
• Very high labeling efficiency with incorporation rates of over 99%
• No need to purchase 13C and 15N stable isotope-labeled amino acids as they are already added to translation system
• Special expression and control vector provided to utilize FLEX-tag for absolute protein quantification by FLEXIQuant method
• All reagents included to directly prepare labeled proteins from DNA template
• Premixed reagents to synthesize proteins with just a few pipetting steps
• Translation buffer provided in special reaction cups for bilayer reactions
• Target protein expression can be confirmed through SDS-PAGE/CBB staining
• Kit contains reagents for 8 translation reactions on 226 µl reaction scale

All reagents are already aliquoted to provide the amounts needed per reaction.
This makes reaction setup easy and avoids unnecessary freeze-thawing of sensitive reagents.
Simply cut off the number of tubes needed for each experiment.
*1 : WEPRO9240 for MS is based on the WEPRO8240 with the addition of 13C and 15N-labeled lysine, arginine, and Creatine Kinase.
*2 : SUB-AMIX SGC for MS includes 18 types of non-labeled amino acids excluding lysine and arginine.
