Background
Ovalbumin, a glycoprotein with molecular weight about 45,000 Dalton, is the main protein component in egg white. It can cause immune response and commonly be used as an immunogen for immune research, such as the animal models of airway hyper reactivity and asthma.
This mRNA is capped by using co-transcriptional capping method, which results in the naturally occuring Cap 1 structure with high capping efficiency. Meanwhile, the addition of poly(A) tail can reduce host cell immune response and enhance mRNA stability. It can simulate the function of a fully processed mature mRNA.
