The Microprobe digital thermometer is versatile, accurate and perfectly suited for measuring core body temperature in laboratory animals.

The Microprobe Thermometer provides fast, precise readings, usually under five seconds. It has a 0.1°C resolution and a temperature range from -100 to 200°C.

This thermometer runs on€ power or Rechargeable Ni-Cad batteries. Thermometer is provided with analog output for recording temperature data.

Because the Microprobe Thermometer is designed with a moisture-, dust-, and fume-proof sealed case, it can be used in the lab, in the field, or in industrial environments. The microprobe thermometer has 0.1°C resolution and super accuracy of 0.1°C +/- 1 digit between 0-50°C, 0.1% +/- 1 digit over full range. The temperature range is -100 to +200°C. The Microprobe Thermometer provides fast readings, usually within 2-5 seconds depending on temperature probe in use.

The 50315 and 50315V Thermometers accept all Type T thermocouple probes. We offer 3 different types of rectal probes:
50312 - Large Animal Probe: Rectal probe for neonatal rabbits, cats, and larger animals. Flexible, vinyl covered probe has a soft tip. Does not cause discomfort. Isolated.
50313 - Rat Probe: Rectal probe for rats. Use for fast intermittent measurements. Probe has a smooth ball tip and 1" long stainless steel shaft and 0.059" diamater. Not isolated.
50314 - Mouse Probe: Rectal probe for mice and other small rodents. Construction similar to RET-2, but with 3/4" shaft and 0.028" diameter. Not isolated.
