Homeothermic Blanket System

This Homeothermic Blanket and temperature control system is designed to actively maintain an animal's body temperature at a preset target value. A 2.0 mm temperature probe provides feedback to the controller about the animal's core body temperature. The controller adjusts current to the heating pad to maintain the desired body temperature.

The 50300 system includes:
· Control Unit
· 12.5x25cm Heating Pad (50302)
· Rectal Thermal Probe (50304)

No Broadcasting of Electrical Noise
The proportional DC power supply slowly varies current output to the heating element, based on the resistance of the monitoring thermistor probe. As a result, noise and current fluctuations are eliminated.

Digital Display
Three-digit LED display on the front panel indicates the temperature in tenths of a degree C. Temperature probe and heating pad plug into a junction box, which connects to controller via a 2.5 m shielded cable.
