Quickly purify high-quality genomic DNA from anticoagulated blood (<1mL).
• No RNase contamination: The DNA-Only Column provided by the kit makes it possible to remove RNA from genomic DNA without adding RNase during the experiment, avoiding the laboratory from being contaminated by exogenous RNase.
• Fast speed: Protease Plus has higher activity than similar proteases, and digests tissue samples faster; the operation is simple, and the genomic DNA extraction operation can be completed within 40 minutes.
• Convenience: The centrifugation is performed at room temperature, 4°C centrifugation or ethanol precipitation of DNA is not required.
• Safety: No organic reagent extraction is used.
• High quality: The extracted genomic DNA fragments are large, no RNA, no RNase, and extremely low ion content, which can meet the requirements of various experiments. Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
Background
This kit adopts new Protease Plus and unique BL1 and BL2 buffer systems, which can completely digest anticoagulant blood samples in a short period of time, thus avoiding DNA degradation to the maximum degree and obtaining the maximum amount of genomic DNA. The rapid blood processing system and the simple DNA-Only column operation greatly simplify the extraction of blood genome, making the genomic DNA can be obtained of high quality and high purity within 40 minutes.
The DNA-only silica gel membrane used in the centrifuge column of this kit is a new type of material unique to our company, which can bind DNA efficiently and specifically, and can remove RNA, impurities, proteins, ions and other organic compounds in cells to the maximum extent. The obtained DNA fragments are large, high purity, stable and reliable quality. The maximum carrying capacity of a DNA-Only column is 80 μg DNA. The obtained DNA can be used in molecular biology experiments such as enzyme digestion, PCR, Southern hybridization and library construction.
The kit can process up to 1mL of blood at a time to obtain a sufficient amount of high-purity genomic DNA.
