Quickly purify high-quality genomic DNA from bacteria in the logarithmic growth phase.
• No RNase contamination: The DNA-Only Column provided by the kit makes it possible to remove the RNA from the genomic DNA without adding RNase during the experiment, preventing the laboratory from being contaminated by exogenous RNase.
• Fast speed: Protease has higher activity than similar proteases, and digests tissue samples quickly; the operation is simple, and the genomic DNA extraction operation can be completed within 20-80 minutes.
• Convenient: The centrifugation is performed at room temperature, and there is no need for 4°C low-temperature centrifugation or ethanol precipitation of DNA.
• Safety: No organic reagent extraction is required.
• High quality: The extracted genomic DNA has large fragments, no RNA, no RNase, and extremely low ion content, which can meet the requirements of various experiments.
• Micro-elution system: It can increase the concentration of genomic DNA, which is convenient for downstream detection or experiment. Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
Background
This kit provides a quick and easy method of extracting genomic DNA from cultures of bacteria (Gram-negative and Gram-positive) from various sources; it can process less than 3mL of bacterial cultures in the logarithmic growth phase (1x10^9 bacteria). The kit is matched with high-efficiency Protease, which allows 15-50μg of high-quality genomic DNA to be extracted within 1 hour. In addition, the kit can also extract genetic material other than the genome, such as plasmids, Cosmid, BAC, etc.
The DNA-only silica gel matrix material used in the spin column is a unique new material of the company, which can efficiently and specifically adsorb DNA. The maximum adsorption capacity for DNA is 80μg. The unique buffer and elution system can maximize the removal of RNA, Impurity proteins, ions and other organic compounds in cells. The extracted genomic DNA fragment is large, high purity, stable and reliable quality, and the size of the DNA fragment is stable at about 23kb.
