Recognizes most of the acidic (Type I) keratins. It's broadly reactive and stains positivelyalmost all epithelia and their neoplasms. In addition, this antibody exhibits the interesting property ofproducing heterogeneous staining within a given epithelium; the detailed staining pattern variesdepending on the differentiated and/or growth state of the individual cells. The antibody is crossreactive with keratins of rabbit, mouse, rat, bovine and chicken.Immunogen: epidermal keratin.
