Recognizes all known basic (Type II) keratins. It's broadly reactive and stains positively almostall epithelia and their neoplasms. This antibody together with has been used for studyingthe immuno-localization of epidermal keratins, tissue distribution and epithelia development. AE-1 andAE-3 have also been used extensively, individually or mixed, for distinguishing carcinoma from non-carcinoma. The antibody is cross reactive with keratins of rabbit, mouse, rat, bovine and chicken.Immunogen: Human epidermal cells.
