Amino-PEG9-alcohol is a PEG derivative containing amine and hydroxyl moieties. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases the water solubility of a compound in aqueous media. The amine group is reactive with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, carbonyls (ketone, aldehyde) etc. The hydroxyl group can be reacted to allow for further derivatization of the compound.
