  - ABC 294640, also known as opaganib, is a sphingosine kinase 2 (Sphk2) inhibitor with anti-inflammatory and anti-viral activity. Sphingosine kinases (SK1 and SK2) are enzymes involved not only in the sphingolipid metabolism pathway, but also in the promotion of tumour growth and pathologic inflammation.
