ToProcult™ Intestinal Tumor Medium (XF)

ToProcult™ Primary intestinal Cancer Cell Medium (XF) is a serum-free medium containing proteins and hormones necessary for intestinal cancer cell isolation and growth, allowing rapid extraction and expansion of intestinal cancer cells from human or small animal intestinal cancer associated tissues or body fluids (tissue peripheral blood). The ToProcult™ Intestinal Medium component explicitly uses BSA instead of fetal bovine serum to reduce contamination in the primary extraction. In addition to intestinal cancer cell-specific growth factors, the suite also contains Procult™ Matrigel matrix gel, which facilitates tissue or primary cell adherence. The use of small molecule compounds to inhibit the growth of non-bowel cancer cells is suitable for the extraction, isolation and culture of small animal tumorigenic cells, primary bowel cancer surgery, puncture and the isolation and culture of peripheral blood and other primary bowel cancer cells.
