  - StaphTEX™ Blue Kit is a rapid, latex agglutination slide-card test to detect coagulase and/or protein A characteristics associated with Staphylococcus aureus and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA). The StaphTEX™ Blue Latex Reagent will react with either or both of these two characteristics.
