Contains 20% Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) and 40% Dimethysulfoxide (DMSO). DMSO rapidly penetrates epithelial cells allowing the KOH to dissolve the cells quickly.
Activates at room temperature and eliminates the need to heat the slide. Ideal for microscopic examination of all fungal skin preps. Use the glass slides (#PF72P).
