Single Donor Human Ear Wax Swab is also known as cerumen. It is a waxy substance secreted in the ear canal to protect the skin of the ear canal, assist in cleaning and lubrication, and also provides protection against bacteria, fungi, insects, and water. This product is collected on sterile cotton tipped applicators and stored dry in a sterile tube. A sample is one donor across two swabs.
