SERSitive

SERSitive is a Polish company specializing in providing cutting-edge surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrates for fast and accurate analysis in a wide range of fields such as pharmacy, biochemistry, forensics, and border guard laboratories. These substrates were invented by specialists from Soft Condensed Matter and Surface Nanoengineering Groups in one of the top scientific institutes in Poland.

The indium tin oxide (ITO) substrates that developed by proprietary technology are coated with silver and gold nanoparticles of 50-200 nanometers. Two types of highly roughened substrates are available, one coated only with silver and the other with silver and gold nanoparticles. SERSitive substrates enhance the signals of a wide range of chemical substances, particularly large molecules with double bonds, improving the sensitivity of Raman spectral analysis by several times.
