    • Overview
      • SEPLITE® LSC720 is a macroporous polystyrene based, thiouronium chelating resin, with functional groups designed for the selective removal of heavy metals, especially for Hg,Au, Pt, Pd etc.LSC720 can be useful for problems where removal of ions Au, Pt, Pd is desired. The most common application for LSC 720 is for mercury in different solutions, by its high selectivity, it could reduce the mercury content to 5ppb.Other Application may be found in different fields of chemical technology such as waste water treatment, recovery of precious metals from rinse waters in the electronic industries.LSC 720 is more resistant to oxidation than thiol-based resins and contact with the atmosphere is not detrimental.Considered the long usage time and tight combination of mercury, normally it is not recommended to regenerate for reuse.

Resins should be stored in sealed containers or bags where temperature was above 0°C in dry conditions without exposure to direct sunlight.
Do not mix ion exchange resin with strong oxidizing agents; otherwise it will cause violent reactions.
In case of eyes contact with resins, rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water, and consult a specialist.
Material and samples must be disposed according to local regulations.
Dry polymers will expand when become wetted and may cause an exothermic reaction.
        Spilled materials may be slippery.
