• Efficient transfection of mRNA in a variety of cells
• Quick and easy protocol
• Low toxicity
• Serum compatible
• Fully synthetic transfection reagent
• RNase-free production
SAINT-mRNA transfection reagent is a new, proprietary formulation that forms positively charged complexes with mRNA and enables highly efficient delivery of mRNA into a variety of mammalian cell lines. Low amounts of mRNA are required for efficient and transient expression of target proteins within hours following transfection up to several days. Using optimized conditions, efficiencies between 90-100% can be achieved in standard cell lines such as CHO-K1 and 293 cells. The transfection procedure using SAINT-mRNA is easy: just mix the reagent with your mRNA in sterile PBS, incubate for 5-10 minutes, and layer the complexes onto your cells in medium with or without serum. 1 ml SAINT-mRNA transfection reagent is sufficient for up to 1000 transfections in 96-well plates.
The SAINT transfection reagents can be produced compliant to current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
Background
SAINT™ delivery technology is based on a set of proprietary, entirely synthetic, cationic lipid structures which have demonstrated to be safe and non-toxic both in vitro and in vivo. Due to its cationic headgroup and amphiphilic nature, SAINT lipids readily bind to most biomolecules (DNA, RNA, and protein) and to cellular membranes, facilitating efficient uptake and release of these biomolecules inside cells. SAINT lipids have demonstrated to reach similar or much higher transfection efficiencies (depending on the cell type) than competing, well-known products for a fraction of the price.
