      • Overview
        • PROCR Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 216 amino acids (18-210) and having a molecular mass of 24.4 kDa. PROCR is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Protein-c Receptor (PROCR) is a receptor for activated protein C, a serine protease activated by and involved in the blood coagulation pathway. The PROCR protein is an N-glycosylated type I membrane protein which enhances the activation of protein C. PROCR gene mutations are linked with venous thromboembolism and myocardial infarction, as well as with late fetal loss during pregnancy. In addition, PROCR may have a role in malarial infection and has been linked with cancer.
