PDZD11 Human Recombinant produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 163 amino acids (1-140 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 18.5kDa. PDZD11 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. PDZ Domain Containing 11 (PDZD11) is a cytosolic protein which contains one PDZ (DHR) domain. PDZD11 displays a resemblance to members of the MALS / VELIS family of proteins. PDZD11 contains but one PDZ domain which seemingly interacts with the C-terminus of partner proteins. PDZD11 is ubiquitously expressed and targets calcium and copper ATPases to basolateral cell membranes. PDZD11 is a briefly interacting partner of the PMCA b-splice forms which have a role in their sorting to or from the plasma membrane.
