        • NSDHL Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 320 amino acids (1-297) and having a molecular mass of 35.5kDa. NSDHL is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. NAD (P) Dependent Steroid Dehydrogenase-Like (NSDHL) takes part in synthesis of cholesterol. NSDHL is involved in one of a few steps which convert lanosterol to cholesterol by removing a carbon atom and three hydrogen atoms (a methyl group). NSDHL is also a vital element of cell membranes and myelin, the fatty covering that insulates nerve cells.

          Formulation
          The NSDHL solution (0.25mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 10% glycerol and 0.1M NaCl.
          Storage
          Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
