      • Overview
        • IgG fraction from rabbit polyclonal antibody obtained by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide (RGVPYASCTATQSFSTF) corresponding to amino acids 1681-1697 of human Cullin 7. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.

      • Applications
        • Application Description
This polyclonal antibody reacts in ELISA (1: 100 dilution) and Western blot (1: 1,000 dilution) using the immunizing peptide. Cullins (1, 2, 3, 4a, 5 and 7) are a family of proteins that assemble a large number of ubiquitin ligases to catalyse polyubiquitiation, as well as binding to various specific factors to recruit substrates. Cullin 7 (CUL 7) is a component of SCF-like E3 ubiquitin ligase complex and may play a role in the degradation of proteins involved in endothelial proliferation and/or differentiation. Cullin 7 is a new oncogene that cooperates with Myc in transformation by blocking Myc-induced apoptosis in a p53-dependent manner.
