      • Overview
        • IgG fraction from rabbit polyclonal antibody obtained by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide (MADEAPRKGSFSALVGRTNG) corresponding to amino acids 1-20 of human Cullin 4a. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.

      • Applications
        • Application Description
This polyclonal antibody can be used in ELISA (1: 500 dilution), immunocitochemistry (1:100 dilution) and it recognizes Cullin 4A (75 kDa) in Western blot of HeLa lysate (1: 1,000 dilution). Cullins (1, 2, 3, 4a, 5 and 7) are a family of proteins that assemble a large number of ubiquitin ligases to catalyse polyubiquitiation, as well as binding to various specific factors to recruit substrates. Cullin 4 (CUL 4) serves as a rigid scaffold that organizes the SKP1-F-box protein and RBX1 subunits of SCF. It plays a role in the polyubiquitination of CDT1 in response to radiation-induced DNA damage and may be important for subsequent DNA repair.
