      • Overview
        • IgG fraction from rabbit polyclonal antibody obtained by immunizing rabbits with a mix of six synthetic peptides corresponding to aa6-19 (SQNDDDYNVVRSGNK), aa88-100 (SRPSTGQRFGDSEK), aa103-115 (RREMGDKLKRTFN), aa20-220 (YSNGERKLTYEKVK), aa259-261 (NEKVAMQHGVPKR), and aa310-322 (SSVL RNTGELKV) of coat protein from GLRaV-1. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.

      • Applications
        • Application Description
This polyclonal antibody reacts with extracts of GLRaV-1-infected plants in ELISA, PTA (Plate-Trapped Antigen)-ELISA, and Western blot (1: 200 dilution). GLRaV-1 belongs to the genus Ampelovirus of the family Closteroviridae. Its genome consists of a single-stranded positive-sense RNA and is encapsidated in filamentous particles containing a 35 kDa coat protein. GLRaV-1 is transmitted by vegetative propagation, grafting, scale insect, and mealybugs. It has been reported that GLRaV-1 has a great potential for genetic variation.
