        • Application Description
This polyclonal antibody reacts with extracts of CTV-infected plants in PTA (Plate-Trapped Antigen)-ELISA (1: 200 dilution). CTV belongs to the genus Closterovirus of the family Closteroviridae and its genome consists of a single-stranded, positive-sense RNA genome, encapsidated in filamentous flexuous particles that are assembled with two coat proteins of 23 and 27 kDa (bipolar architecture). CTV is transmitted by several aphid species and grafting.
