    96 multiwell insert plates with differentiated HEK 293 cells expressing OATP1B3 as well as the parental cell line. Because of these transporters’ prominent expression on the sinusoidal membrane of hepatocytes, OATP1B3 represents a critical mechanism for the uptake of drugs into the liver.
