Porcine Chemokine CCL2 Recombinant has been recombinantly produced in yeast and purified using ion-exchange chromatography. This is a lyophilized powder with a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.
This product is endotoxin free, naturally folded, and post-translationally modified. This product can be used in cell culture, as an ELISA Standard for CCL2, and as a Western Blot control. Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 2 (CCL2) is a cytokine that attracts monocytes, memory T cells, and dendric cells to the site of inflammation as a result of injury or infection. CCL2 is a monomeric polypeptide that is induced in large part by platelet derived growth factor.
