Peptoids are peptide-mimicking poly-N-substituted glycines, which exhibit enhanced physiological stability and are known to have qualities. They have recently been shown to have activity against Leishmania mexicana axenic amastigotes. Nae is the N-substituted amino ethyl peptoid monomer and Nspe is the (S)-(N-1-phenylethyl)glycine peptoid monomer.
