RNase inhibitor is a specific ribonuclease (RNase) inhibitor existing in the human placenta. The principle of its specific inactivation of RNase is: it forms a complex with RNase by non-covalent bond, causing RNase inactivation.
This kit uses the experimental principle of double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to detect the residual amount of RNase inhibitor. Add the RNase inhibitor standard and the sample to be tested to the ELISA plate (36707-A) pre-coated with anti-RNase inhibitor antibody, and then add the diluted biotin-labeled RNase inhibitor detection antibody (36707-C). Finally, add Streptavidin-HRP (SA-HRP) (36707-D) to form an antibody + antigen + antibody-Biotin + SA-HRP complex. After washing the plate, add TMB color development solution (36707-H) for color development. TMB is converted from colorless to blue under the catalysis of HRP enzyme and finally converted to yellow under the action of stop solution (36707-I). The depth of yellow is positively correlated with the amount of RNase inhibitor detected in the sample. Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
