We offer various DNA phosphoramidites with standard base protecting groups. Even though, DNA deprotection is relatively simple compare to RNA, proper care needs to taken while choosing the correct conditions and deprotection times.
Cleavage of DNA oligonucleotides from the support and deprotection of protecting groups can be achieved by using any of the following deprotection conditions. (Deprotection time ranges are dependent on the oligo chain length).
Conc. aq. Ammonia (30%) at 37 °C for 36 hours.
Conc. aq. Ammonia (30%) at 55°C for 16-18 hours.
Aq. Methylamine (40%) at 65°C for 40 min (Not recommended for Benzoyl-Cytidine protected amidites). Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
