It quickly penetrates into mitochondria and generates very strong fluorescence signal when it reacts with ROS.     The kit provides a sensitive, non-wash, one-step fluorimetric assay to detect mitochondrial ROS (especially superoxide and hydroxyl radicals) in live cells within one hour.
