Overview

• Methacrylated Hyaluronic Acid (HAMA) is a photocurable biomaterial;
• HAMA can be cured with a light initiator under blue or UV light;
• The stiffness of HAMA hydrogel is related to the concentration. The higher concentration, the arder the hydrogel is after curing;
• HAMA has good biocompatibility, it can be mixed with cells for 3D bioprinting.
Each batch of HAMA was tested by 1H NMR, HPLC and cytology to confirm its chemical structure, degree of methacrylation 20~30%, and non-cytotoxity; when mixed with LAP, it can be rapidly cured under the blue light.
Recommended procedure:
• Weight HAMA for printing; sterilize it with acetone;
• Under aseptic conditions, dissolve HAMA in medium overnight to create the 1%-2% solution;
• Mix the HAMA solution with LAP and cells, load mixture into the cartridge of the 3D io-printer; io-printer;
• Start 3D printing and blue-light solidification.
Quality Control:
Each batch of HAMA was tested by 1H NMR, HPLC and cytology to confirm its chemical structure, degree of methacrylation 20~30%, and non-cytotoxity; when mixed with LAP, it can be rapidly cured under the blue light.Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
