m-PEG3-Sulfone-PEG2-OH is a PEG derivative containing sulfone and hydroxyl moieties. The sulfone can be reacted with thiol groups of proteins. The hydroxyl group can be reacted to further derivatize the compound. The hydrophilic PEG linker increases the water solubility of the compound in aqueous media.
