L-alanyl-L-glutamine is a substitute for L-glutamine, which is widely used in cell culture. Due to the high stability in the aqueous solution, it can maintain a long-term and stable supply of nutrients and reduce the cytotoxicity caused by decomposition products. L-alanyl-L-glutamine contains 0.85% (W:V) NaCl, which can be used as an additive for mammalian adherent cells or suspension cell culture.
