Hydroxy-PEG3-acrylate is a PEG derivative containing a hydroxyl group and an acrylate group. The hydroxyl group allows for further derivatization of the compound. The acrylate group enables Michael addition reactions. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media.
