The main functions of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells under physiological conditions include: Constructing and maintaining the normal morphology of pulmonary arteries; Synthesis and release of extracellular matrix; After tissue damage, a large amount of tissue is gathered to repair the damaged tissue in a timely manner. Pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells were obtained from healthy lung tissue using a low serum level smooth muscle cell culture medium, with a cell proliferation of more than 10 times.
