      • Overview
        • We offer methylated genomic DNA controls to serve as positive or negative controls in DNA methylation analysis experiments. The controls have been used on more than 14,000 gene-specific and global methylation assays using targeted bisulfite NGS (tNGBS), Pyrosequencing, and MS-HRM. They are recommended for use in DNA methylation assay development, optimization, and validation to ensure assay linearity, specificity, and reproducibility for research and clinical applications.

Our low methylated DNA is chemically and enzymatically treated with lower than 5% methylation. They are tested on numerous gene-specific and global methylation assays using pyrosequencing technology.

          Product Highlights
          • Human Low Methylated Genomic DNA is derived from whole blood and chemically and enzymatically methylated resulting in less than 5% methylation than 20% methylation in all regions of the genome. Most regions show less than 5% in methylation.
          • Ideal for use as control in bisulfite methylation analysis procedures including Pyrosequencing, targeted NGS, and MSHRM
          • Tested on gene specific and global methylation assays for consistent performance
          • Requires bisulfite modification prior to use
