The HPV (58) Luciferase Pseudotyped Virus is packaged with the L1 (P26535) and L2 (P26538) proteins, and contains the firefly luciferase gene. This pseudovirus is replication-defective, meaning it cannot produce new virus particles after infection. It can effectively infect HEK-293T cells (293TT) that overexpress the SV40 Large T antigen. This virus can be used for neutralizing antibody titer determination, inhibitor screening, viral entry studies, and HPV vaccine development.
