Horse Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor A (VEGF-A) Recombinant

Horse Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor A (VEGF-A) Recombinant has been recombinantly produced in yeast and purified using ion-exchange chromatography. This is a lyophilized powder with a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.
This product is endotoxin free, naturally folded, and post-translationally modified. This product can be used in cell culture, as an ELISA Standard for VEGF-A, and as a Western Blot control. VEGF-A belongs to the platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) / vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) family. A glycosylated mitogen, VEGF-A acts on endothelial cells in particular to induce different effects, like mediating vascular permeability, inducing angiogenisis / vasculogenesis / mitosis, assisting cell migration, and preventing apoptosis (programmed cell death).
