Graces Medium For Insect Cells is a Classic Basic Medium.
Grace's Insect Medium is a modified Wyatt Medium that is more closely chemically similar to insect hemolymph. This medium was successfully used to establish the first insect continuous cell line, derived from Antherea eucalypti cells of the Australian White Star Orange-Orange Silkworm Moth. With appropriate supplementation, Grace's Insect Medium can be used to culture a variety of insect cells, including lepidoptera and dipteroptera species.
