Goat Anti-Mouse IgG Plates 96-Well Solid Plates: Solid format designed for high-performance assays.
Goat Anti-Mouse IgG Plates are specifically designed to bind the Fc region of mouse immunoglobulin subclasses (IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG3) with minimal cross-reactivity to human, bovine, and rabbit serum proteins. These plates are particularly useful for binding assays where antibody quantities are limited, or where antibodies may denature and lose activity when directly adsorbed to polystyrene surfaces.
The Goat Anti-Mouse IgG Coated Plates prevent antibody denaturation caused by direct adsorption on polystyrene, ensuring antibodies remain active. Unlike Protein A or G plates, they provide selective binding specifically to target mouse IgG, offering higher specificity. Additionally, these plates deliver enhanced antibody-binding capacity, especially when using diluted mouse antibody solutions, outperforming direct adsorption to polystyrene.
Secondary Antibodies Goat Anti Mouse IgG Coated Plates are pre-blocked in order to minimize any non-specific binding and to ensure long-term stability.
Goat Anti-Mouse IgG Plates are available in clear, white, and black polystyrene in Breakable Strip format. Strip and Solid format available upon request. They are suitable for ELISA, Luminescence, Fluorescence, and Chemiluminescent assays.

· Unit: Contains 5 plates
· Minimum order: 10 plates.
· Ready to use
Key Benefits
· Plates Design:
The mould design provides optical quality, important to reduce the background signal.
The rim protects the external face of the bottom from scratches.
· Improved Washing Efficiency: Radius-edged well bottoms enhance washing, reducing residual materials and improving assay consistency.
· Reduced Cross-Contamination: Designed to minimize the risk of cross-contamination between wells, ensuring precise sample isolation.
· Enhanced Imaging: The flat surface provides a clear focal plane, essential for high-quality imaging in microscopy, especially for fluorescence and phase-contrast analysis.
· Improved Mixing: The flat-bottom design facilitates better sample mixing, ensuring consistent results across assays. Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
Background
Biomat's Secondary Antibodies Coated Surface, available with Goat Anti-Mouse IgG and Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, is specifically designed for antibody-binding assays where direct adsorption to polystyrene can compromise antibody integrity. This surface is ideal for cases where primary antibodies are limited in quantity or prone to denaturation, ensuring optimal assay sensitivity and consistency.
· When and Why to Use a Secondary Antibody Coated Surface
Prevents antibody denaturation caused by direct adsorption onto polystyrene
Ensures higher binding efficiency for diluted antibody solutions, especially mouse and rabbit IgG
Fc-specific binding offers greater selectivity than Protein A or Protein G plates
Ideal for indirect ELISA, sandwich ELISA, competitive assays, isotyping, and hybridoma screening
Unlike Protein A or G-coated surfaces, Biomat's secondary antibody-coated surfaces bind exclusively to the IgG class of the selected species, offering enhanced specificity and compatibility with downstream detection protocols.
