Fmoc-NH-ethyl-SS-propionic acid is a cleavable ADC linker used in the synthesis of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).Fmoc-NH-ethyl-SS-propionic acid contains an Fmoc protecting group and an NHS ester group. The Fmoc protecting group can be removed under basic condition to obtain a free amine which can be used for further conjugations. The acid group can react with primary amines upon the use of activators such as EDC and DCC to form stable amide bonds.
