        • Bright fluorescent violet microspheres are supplied in dry powder form and specifically designed with density of 1.06g/cc. Mass density of whole blood at 37 ªC is 1.06g/cc (1060 kg/m3). Controlled particle size ranges enable investigation of maximum particle size passing through the openings, filters and membranes. Particles exhibit a strong fluorescent response and are color stable in solution. Other colors, sizes and grades of fluorescent particles are available: Fluorescent Polymer Particles, Beads, Microspheres Other neutrally buoyant particles for flow visualization and PIV are available: Microspheres for Flow Visualization and PIV (1.0g/cc)

          Polyethylene microspheres are hydrophobic and suspend easily in oil-based solutions. They can also be suspended in aqueous solution if coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water. We recommend using Tween 80 or Tween 20 Surfactants.
          This product is also available suspended in 20% aqueous solution as Density Marker Beads .
