Material Safety Data Sheet - Polyethylene Spheres, Beads, Microspheres, and Nanospheres Bright fluorescent red microspheres are supplied in dry powder form. Fluorescent particles of known density and particle diameter range are often used in density-matching for flow visualization and analysis of fluid flow in a device.Particles exhibit a strong fluorescent response and are color stable in solution. Polyethylene microspheres are hydrophobic and suspend easily in oil-based solutions. They can also be suspended in aqueous solution if coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water. We recommend using Tween 80 or Tween 20 Surfactants.Density: 1.045g/cc - 1.055g/cc Daylight Color: Fluorescent Red (607nm Peak) Fluorescent Response: Fluorescent Red under 300-550nm wavelengths.
