The enhanced ECL chemiluminescence detection kit is used to detect antibodies and their associated antigens directly or indirectly labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). The principle is that proteins or nucleic acids are transferred to the blot membrane after electrophoresis, and the primary antibody and HRP-labeled secondary antibody bind to the target protein on the membrane, or the HRP-labeled probe directly or indirectly binds to the nucleic acid on the membrane. After washing the membrane, use the ECL working solution prepared by this product, incubate the membrane at room temperature for several minutes, wrap the blot membrane with plastic wrap and stick it to the X-ray film exposure cassette. Then transfer it to the dark room and press the X-ray film on the membrane for exposure for several seconds to several hours. After development and fixation, the protein or nucleic acid bands can be clearly displayed on the X-ray film. This kit uses a unique luminescent substrate system to reduce the exposure background while introducing a new type of oxidant, which greatly improves the stability of the kit and allows it to be stable at room temperature for one year. In addition to being used for X-ray films, it can also be directly used for fluorescent CCD scanning, mainly for WB detection and chemiluminescent immunoassay systems.
